Radical acceptance is a skill in Dialectical Behavior Therapy) that teaches us to fully accept our present feelings or situation without judgment. It is what allows us to experience pain, which is unavoidable, without suffering, which is optional. Radical acceptance does not mean we approve of unwanted behaviors or situations.
