Grief. Shame. Anxiety. Embarrassment. Disappointment. Sadness. Depression.

We experience intense and complex emotions after a pregnancy loss.

And yet, sharing our emotions with others is a vulnerable act, in large part because people don’t want to be privy to our emotions. Being “too emotional” is a judgment, a cut, something unwanted. Instead, people are comfortable when we hold our emotions inside. Bottle them up. That’s personal, and you need to keep that to yourself.
