There is a deep necessity to speak more broadly about pregnancy loss, primarily to prepare people trying to conceive for the pain they may experience. Because we are not speaking about pregnancy loss on a larger scale, people have little idea about how to support themselves after a loss.

Everyone garners support in their own way. Some of us want to be surrounded by loved ones. Others want to be alone. Some engage in meditation and gentle yoga. Others join a cardio kickboxing class (although, speak to your doctor regarding intense exercise. Depending on how far along your pregnancy was, you may have to wait on this).

We all grieve differently. We all process pain uniquely. And, we all need to find space to help ourselves heal on this journey.
