This Month at The Miscarriage Therapist
A book club, support group, and personalized meditations
As we enter the holiday season, many of us might be feeling a range of emotions. And that is so valid.
When I was in the midst of my own recurrent miscarriages, I began to hate the holidays. My hope, this holiday season, is that we can create a community of support and connection.
With that in mind, I have put together a few gatherings for this holiday season:
A Book Club
When I was grieving my losses, I loved the books I read. I found them grounding and supportive. Starting in December, The Miscarriage Therapist will hold its first book club. We will be reading I Had a Miscarriage, by Jessica Zucker.
The book club discussion will be available to all paid subscribers, with a weekly post and discussion board coming out every Tuesday, starting December 3. We will review the first three chapters on December 3.
December support group
On Monday, December 17, at 7pm EST, I will be hosting a support group, focused on navigating the holidays after a pregnancy loss. This support group will be open to all paid subscribers of The Miscarriage Therapist. A Zoom link will be sent out the week before to all paid subscribers.
Personalized meditations starting next week
Mindfulness Mondays will continue, as well as a new series of personalized meditations and mindfulness practices focused on specific journeys within pregnancy loss. Our mindfulness practices will focus on recurrent loss, TFMR, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, PRE-PROM, and more. Like the Mindfulness Mondays, all practices will be sent out in text format, and a recorded version will be sent to all paid subscribers.
As always, thank you all for being here. I hope we can come together, and feel a sense of community during the holidays.
