I’ve recently finished The Retrievals, a podcast from Serial and The New York Times. While this podcast is not specifically about pregnancy loss, I found myself feeling connected with the women interviewed. The sentiments they shared almost echoed the sentiments we have all shared post-pregnancy loss.
For those of you who have not listened to the podcast, it covers a recent medical malpractice lawsuit at Yale’s fertility clinic, in which a nurse stole fentanyl during egg retrieval procedures and replaced in with saline. Women undergoing this painful procedure were left unmedicated.
